Film Screening: Disruption

Wed, April 15, 2015; 21:30 - 23:30
Location: New Theatre

DISRUPTION explores the work of a group of Latin American activist-economists who are pioneering strategies for financial inclusion across the region by aligning policy, market mechanisms and advances in technology to create programs that place women at the center of the drive for social change. Through these programs, the women become empowered economic and political agents in their communities. If the model is taken to scale, could 20 million women upend a continent?  Panel discussion and Q&A to follow. This film screening is free and open to the general public.  Seating is first come, first served.
