Post-2015 Development Framework

Fri, April 11, 2014; 11:45 - 13:00
Location: SBS, Seminar 8

The post-2015 framework will galvanize resources toward particular development issues for at least the next 15 years. This presentation explains how strengthening land rights for women and men can help achieve several development goals—and how the issue should be included in the post-2015 agenda.

I’m very glad that Tim and Landesa are bringing this issue to the Post-2015 discussion. I’m working with the Hilton Foundation and others aiming to catalyze greater engagement by philanthropy more broadly in the Post-2015 Agenda – many foundations’ grantees around the world care deeply about the content and process. I look forward to working with Tim Hansted, Kathy Calvin of the UN Foundation and others who will be at the Forum to get the conversation going early in the week…
